21 Nov [1886], written from Goring, Sussex, to his publisher, Sampson Low & Co., accepting an advance for 'Amaryllis'.
Two incomplete letters : one to his father, dated 31 May, discussing a picture in the Grosvenor Gallery; the other to his parents, discussing a family holiday in Cornwall.
