Description | Including the following transactions:- a) Final concord 1309 – Walter de Dupegate and Margery his wife, pl; John son of Margery Beauvyleyn, def; one messuage and one virgate of land in Calne and Calestone; said William (sic) recognised his right. b) Act of homage 1330 by Richard and Thomas, sons of William Dupegate, William de Fynamoure who married their sister Margaret, and Philip de Everley who married their other sister Maud, to William de Balsam, prior of Farleigh, for the tenement written in the folio following, after the deaths of the said William and Margery his wife, in the full court of the Abbess of Lacok at Hedyngdon. c) Final concord 1309 – as in (a). William recognised the right of John; John granted the tenement to them for their lives; remainder to Thomas and Richard sons of the said William and Margery, and Margaret and Maud, sisters of Thomas and Richard; remainder to the right heirs of William. d) Release 1327 (?) by Thomas, son of Nicholas de Cokelborow and his wife Elena, daughter and heiress of the late John de Roude of Calne, to Master Roger de Chippenham and John son of Gilbert de Fynamore, from their bond to pay them an annual rent of £20, provided that the latter surrender to them all the lands, etc., of the late John de Roude, to hold to them and their issue, with reversion to William son of Gilbert de Fynamore.
