This book of maps is probably the result of the survey of the estate carried out in 1854, with some later annotations; they either list the tenants in the villages (or borough) for Alderbury, Coombe Bissett, Corston, Downton, East Harnham, Homington (with later composite map of Homimgton Farm and village and the holdings renumbered) , Nunton & Bodenham, Odstock, Patney, Stanton St Quintin and West Grimstead (with 1877 schedule of further acquistions in the parish), or the farm holdings arranged by parish, including Alderbury Farm, Common Farm, Rectory Farm and Whaddon Farm in Alderbury; Tottens Farm and Coombe Bissett Farm in Coombe Bissett; Corston Farm and Bell Farm in Corston; Charlton Farm, Loosehanger Farm, Matrimony Farm, Newcourt Farm, Paccombe Farm, Wick Farm and Witherington Farm (with two tracings) in Downton; East Harnham Farm, Hancocks Farm in Farley; Homington Farm; Little Park Farm in Wootton Bassett; Longford Castle & Farm (with 1854 copy containing agricultural land usage); Lyneham Farm; Nunton Farm, Catherine's Barn and Odstock Farm in Odstock; Patney Farm; Seagry Farm; Stanton Manor Farm, Lower Stanton Farm and Avils Farm in Stanton St Quintin; Butter Furlong Farm, Nursery Farm, Pope's Bottom & Rowden Farms, West Grimstead Farm and Whitehouse Farm in West Grimstead and Coombe Farm & part of Parsonage Farm (x2) in West Harnham; the maps of most of the manors refer to the tithe awards of those parishes; the exceptions being maps of Alderbury (see 1946/2/2E/14H), of Homington (1946/2/2E/62H) and of Odstock (1946/2/2E/71H) and for schedule see 1946/2/2D/5; index at front
