Description October 1891, containing an article on George Scharf (1820-1895) Keeper of the National Portrait Gallery and correspondant of Helen Matilda, Countess of Radnor (1846-1949) in her work on the catalogue of the Radnor collection (the journal contains a fragment of a note from George Scharf). 1897, containing an article on the collection at Longford Castle by Claude Phillips (1846-1924) serialised in several editions from April, also a correspondant of Helen Matilda, with inserts from another edition of the journal on wrought-iron work in and about Salisbury, including the steel chair at Longford; also photograph of engraving "Venus disarming Cupid" formerly thought to be by Correggio.
