Descriptionpapers and correspondence about alterations at Longford Castle, 1894-1895, 1900-1914; mainly to do with a proposed reinforced concrete bridge (with plan), a new bathroom for Lord Radnor and a redesigned hot water system; documents include specifications, estimates, forms of tender, some of the plans mentioned in the correspondence; architect: Sidney Gambier Parry. The plan and specifications of the proposed bridge have annotations that they are exhibits in a Court of Chancery case R.731 re Radnor settled estates in South Wilts which was to do with the funding from the 4th Earl's Resettlement Trust. The construction of the bridge was completed by August 1914; also included is a 1900 sketch of the ceiling in Lord Radnor's room (2). Two letters about the heating system, 1894-1895
