Descriptioncuttings from national and local newspapers, probably collected by Edward Oliver Pleydell-Bouverie (1856-1938) on a variety of subjects including casualty lists and accounts of the aftermath of the Battle of Waterloo, Queen Victoria's 1891 visit to the City of London, reminiscences of East Lavington Manor House, a century of wheat harvests 1810-1909, the unveiling of a statue of Richard Cobden at Bradford by John Bright, a collection of signatures on letters to General Everard William Bouverie (1789-1871) including Lord Cardigan of Light Brigade fame, Lord Combermere and the Marquis of Anglesey, both of whom commanded cavalry for the Duke of Wellington, 1863 letters from William, 3rd Earl of Radnor (1779-1869) to his son Edward Pleydell-Bouverie MP (1818-1889) collected for their signatures by the latter's son, EOPB, and accompanied by pictures of all three, accounts of inter university racquets matches and other mentions of Cambridge and a report on a talk on the family history given by Frank Stevens FSA at Salisbury in 1921; also many obituaries of family and relatives, including William, 3rd Earl, and, in photocopies, Edward Pleydell Bouverie, Walter Pleydell-Bouverie (1848-1893), respectively the grandfather, father & brother of EOPB; also photocopies of obituaries of Canon Bertrand Pleydell-Bouverie, son of the 4th Earl of Radnor, James Plaisted Wilde, Lord Penzance, who married Mary Pleydell-Bouverie, daughter of the 3rd Earl, and Sir Augustus Stephenson, who married Eglantine, daughter of Edward Pleydell-Bouverie, as well as hers and copies of the coats of arms of Sir Augustus and his father, Henry Frederick
