| Title | These eighteen volumes are a fair copy of most (but not all) of the volumes of two earlier surveys of the estate, c.1705 (2057/S/13-27) and c.1735-40 (2057/S/28-37). They include annotations of changes of tenancy down to 1771. But a few marginal notes, etc., in the original volumes have been omitted; and unlike the originals, they have not been brought up to date by annotations of changes of tenancy after 1771. They do not appear to contain any information which is not found in the originals. |
