Enclosed earlier letter from Hatherton to Sidney Herbert requesting delay in the disembodiment of the 2nd Staffordshire due to the poor state of the iron trade in that region. 27 January.
Enclosed question on the issuing of a new supply of clothing to the 2nd Staffordshire Militia and if it meant that the regiment was to be excepted from the proposed disembodiment. 23 March. Answer attached.
