Description1. 1835-1836 Copy draft assignment of mortgage for £4500 secured on Newick and Naswick Farms in the island of Foulness from the Duke of Leinster and Charles Feilding to George Bramwell the younger of the Inner Temple. Letter to accompany to "Sir" (Lumley) 13 Sep 1836. Relates to George Fitzgerald.

2. 1836 Copy draft of discharge from £700 and £300 from George Fitzgerald to the trustees of his marriage settlement and the trustees of the marriage settlement of his parents, Lord and Lady Robert Fitzgerald. Relates to land in Kildare, Ireland. 2 copies.

3. 1836 Release from part of the trust fund to the trusts of Lord and Lady Robert Fitzgerald's marriage settlement. Parties: Reverend Henry Dalton and Sophia Charlotte his wife; George Finch; Geraldine Augusta Fitzgerald; George Fitzgerald and Mary his wife; Charles Bowdler, of Doctor's Commons London and Charles Barton, captain of His Majesty's 14th Regiment of Dragoons; Augustus Frederick, Duke of Leinster and Charles Feilding of Sackville Street, Middlesex. Relates to land in Kildare, Ireland.

4.1836 Correspondence received by the trustees of the marriage settlement of Lord and Lady Fitzgerald, the Duke of Leinster and Captain Charles Feilding, and related documents. 1836 unless otherwise stated. Comprises:
a. Note of instruction for the release from George Fitzgerald from Mr Hall, draft accounts for the trustees.
b. 1 Oct 1836 Copy of a letter from the Duke of Leinster to Messrs Oddie, Forster & Lumley with an account of the amount of money for the sale of the Cappagh estate, with letter to Messrs King from Oddie, Forster & Lumley enclosing a copy of the account.
c. 9 May 1837 Letter to Oddie, Forster & Lumley from Messrs King concerning Lord and Lady Fitzgerald's trust.
d. 2 Jul 1835 Letter from the Duke of Leinster to William Read King acknowledging payment.
e. 6 Sep 1836 Letter to Lord and Lady Robert Fitzgerald's trustees from Oddie, Forster & Lumley asking them to propose a release.
f. 19 Dec 1834 Letter from Captain Feilding to William Read King enclosing a power of attorney and discussing his sister Miss Feilding.
g. Account of the most noble Augustus Frederick Duke of Leinster and Captain Feilding as trustees of the marriage settlement of the late Lord and Lady Robert Fitzgerald deceased dated the 21 Jul 1792, relating to principal monies.
h. 24 Feb 1836 Letter to William Read King from Lumley about George Fitzgerald's wish to have some money from his settlement.
i. 1 Mar 1836 Letter from William Read King to R W Lumley in response to the above letter asking for money; he wishes to see the marriage settlement
j. 17 Apr 1837 Letter from Oddie, Forster & Lumley to Lord and Lady Robert Fitzgerald's trustees sending some accounts.
k. 21 Nov 1836 Letter from Boodle & Co to Lord and Lady Robert Fitzgerald's trustees - they will look at the proposed release.
l. 22 Dec 1836 Letter from Oddie, Forster & Lumley to Lord and Lady Robert Fitzgerald's trustees concerning the transfer of a fund.
m. 13 Feb 1837 Letter from Oddie, Forster & Lumley to Lord and Lady Robert Fitzgerald's trustees with a copy of a letter dated 9 Feb 1837 from the Duke of Leinster - he is waiting for a power of attorney from Captain Feilding to have stock transferred into the Bank of England.
n. 2 May 1837 Letter from Oddie, Forster & Lumley to William Read King, with copies of correspondence on the draft release from Oddie, Forster & Lumley and Messrs Boodle & Co.
o. 28 Sep/15 Nov 1836 Letters from Oddie, Forster & Lumley to Lord and Lady Robert Fitzgerald's trustees and a note dated 9 Nov 1836 to Mr Boodle about accounts.
p. Duke of Leinster's account of the sale of stock, sold for account by the Duke of Leinster and Captain Feilding.
q. 13 Feb 1835 Letter to Captain Feilding from William Read King with advice regarding the Trust and his sister's concern should he resign the trusteeship.
r. 27 Feb 1835 Letter from Captain Feilding to William Read King to say that his sister has begged him not to resign his trusteeship.
s. 10 Jul 1835 Letter to William Read King from the Duke of Leinster asking him to act for him as well as for Captain Feilding: Matilda Feilding will send the deed signed by both trustees concerning the sum of £4500.
t. 1835 Copy of Mr Hoare's account of purchase of stock to Misses Fitzgerald's account, also a letter dated 20 Jul 1835 and a receipt from Matilda Feilding.
u. 20 Jul 1835 Receipt to Augustus Frederick Leinster and Captain Charles Feilding for interest in the joint stock of 3% annuities transferrable at the Bank of England.
v. 21 Jul 1835 Draft letter to the Duke of Leinster about the sum of £4500, and £300 paid to Matilda Feilding.
w. 1835 Notice of assignment by George Fitzgerald to the trustees of his settlement of his marriage with Miss Mary Barton of his portion under his parents' settlement.
x. 1792 Draft case for Lord Robert Fitzgerald's marriage settlement.

8. 1835-1836 Correspondence between William Read King and Matilda Feilding concerning the trusteeship for Lord and Lady Robert Fitzgerald. Lady Fitzgerald, Matilda's sister, died 1833 and Captain Feilding, Matilda's brother, was a trustee for their estate and marriage settlement. Matilda was also heavily involved. Captain Feilding gave up the trusteeship. Some letters include copies of letters sent by the Duke of Leinster, Charles Fitzgerald, who was joint trustee with Captain Feilding, and mostly concern the trusteeship, sale of stock and estates, and settlements on the marriage of Lord and Lady Fitzgerald's son George. There are also some letters from Messrs Bramwell.

11. 30 Jan 1835 Settlement of Lord and Lady Robert Fitzgerald's case for the opinion of Mr Hall.

12. 5 Sep 1835 Copy assignment of a quarter's share of certain monies and premises (indorsed in the marriage settlement of George Fitzgerald) and being the appointment of Mr Charles Barton as a trustee in place of Mr Hugh Barton. Relating to land in Cappagh and Grangemore.

13. 26 Dec 1835 Copy assignment of a quarter's share of certain monies and premises (indorsed in the marriage settlement of George Fitzgerald). Relating to land in Cappagh and Grangemore .

14. 1835 Correspondence relating to the Fitzgeralds' estate originally wrapped in a section of a letter from Thomas Talbot about financial matters (now flattened with rest of bundle), comprising:
a. Note to Charles King from unknown sender concerning the marriage settlement (probably that of Lord and Lady Fitzgerald).
b. 30 Aug 1836 Letter to R W Lumley from William Read King sending the draft release from Mr Fitzgerald.
c. 20 Dec 1824 Letter to Mr Dagley at Bond Street from William Read King concerning purchase money for the estate.
