Glouc.) former Chantry property in Bristol in parishes of Christchurch, Redcliff, St. Stephens and St. Phillip and St. Jacob; Charlton nr. Pewsey, Escott and Morelys in Crudwell (surveyed 1555). List of tenants of Charlton manor with commons of pasture for sheep and schedule of demesnes lands of Seend both interleaved. Copy of lease of mill at Baldham, in Keevil in the manor of Steeple Ashton 1537. Surveys of manors included details of buildings particularly detailed for manor houses especially Avebury and Lacock the latter noted as being newly built within the limits of the former building (ie the abbey). Copies of leases of manor houses and demesnes and details of copyhold admissions.
Interleaved a list of records of payments made as noted by Thomas Lound who was probably sent to London by Sharington to look at the records of Charlton manor, and Lound's expenses, c1550.
