TitleVarious correspondence and legal items concerning the takeover of the Lacock estate by the National Trust.
DescriptionThe majority of the letters are estate and tenant related, between Richard Foley, agent for Lacock, and Eardley Knollys, the agent for the National Trust who took over management of the estate following Mr Foley's retirement, and also between Richard Foley and the solicitors Wood & Awdry, and the National Trust's chief agent Hubert Smith.
