Description1. 25 Mar 1851 Draft conveyance of a cottage and two pieces of land at Bowden Hill in the parish of Lacock from William Henry Fox Talbot to Henry Alworth Merewether of Westbrook, Bromham.
2. 13 Jan 1851 Letter to William Henry Fox Talbot from John Gale with a copy letter from J[ohn] Huggens who does not wish to buy any property and wishes that "no encroachments" are made on his property.
3. Undated letter from Merewether to Mr Awdry confirming he is happy with an abstract of title and a conveyance.
4. 8 Apr 1850 Letter to Mr Awdry from unknown about a Lacock tithe apportionment.
5. 4 Dec 1850 Letter to Mr Awdry from Joseph Philips about Mr Merewether's plans to make a road across the common at Bowden Hill, and landowners' agreements to this.
6. 21 Nov 1850 Letter to Messrs Awdry from John Gale to say Mr Huggens does not consent to a road being built across Bewley Common.
7. 1851 Letter to West Awdry from Mr Merewether enclosing a legal document.
