1. 8 Feb from Richard Foley who has been informed by Mr Palmer that Charles may wish to see him to discuss the agency.
2. 9 Feb Copy letter from Charles Henry Talbot to Richard H Foley to say the present management of the estate is unsatisfactory and expensive, and when can he call on him.
3. 12 Feb from Richard Foley to say he can meet when most convenient to Charles. Includes a note by Charles with a brief list of dates and times.
4. 17 Feb from Richard Foley: Mr Palmer has agreed for him to be employed by Charles.
5. 18 Feb from Tilly with answers to questions about the pay and duties.
6. 19 Feb from his nephew Jack describing the amount of salary mentioned by Charles as "very much the reverse of moderate" compared to what he pays his factor per annum.
7. 19 Feb from Richard Foley who has received Charles' letter. Enclosed is a copy of letter from Charles Henry Talbot to Mr Foley offering him £40pa. If this is acceptable, he will write to Mr Awdry to inform him that there will be a change.
8. 24 Feb from Richard Foley who has considered the terms offered and would like to speak to him. Included is a note from Charles Henry Talbot to P D Awdry advising him that he will be sharing an agent with Mr Palmer and he should wind up matters by a certain date.
