Description1. 7 Sep 1719 Report on the carpentry work completed and the progress of Powell, the mason, with a request for payments to be made.

3. 26 Sep 1719 concerning work finished at Worfield by Stephen Powell. Also Powell's bill for tiling.
4. 23 Dec 1719 concerning drawing down cash for Mr Whitmore to buy materials.
5. 19 Sep 1719 concerning the bills paid for work at Worfield and the lack of hours worked by the gardener.
6. 1 Jan 1720 concerning Mr Inglefield wishing to know whether the glass for the sashes is to be sent from London or whether he should purchase Bristol glass at half the price. He asks how many thousand bricks are to be handmade. Includes a separate bill from Mr Stubbs.
7. 30 Jan 1720 concerning bills due, including to the brickman; enclosed is a separate abstract by Mr Stubbs of land in the possession of Thomas Bark.
8. 24 Feb 1720 news of that all is well with the houses and includes a bill for building materials.
9. 6 Feb 1720 progress report on building and costs incurred. It includes work on the kitchen, the coach house and the arrival of glass for Mr Inglefield.
10. 25 Mar 1720 details of the delivery of goods by wagon to Hallon including items missing. In particular Thomas Bates produced a delivery note and 3 grates, but Mr Barrett had instruction from Henry Davenport for 5 grates. Mr Barrett suggests that Mr Bates and his wife should be "examined".
11. 12 Apr 1720 concerning hay and straw delivery for the horses. It concludes with: "There has been much robbery committed by breaking houses in the night that I durst not venture your goods in the Parlour at Hallon but that I get two young men to stay in the Parlour every night".
12. 5 Oct 1719 progress of work in the kitchen and laundry and an account of a dispute between Mr Stubbs and Mr Barrett concerning the payment of bills.
13. 30 Sep 1719 concerning an account of sums of money owed to tradesmen.
14. 6 Oct 1719 concerning sums of money required to pay tradesmen.
15. 10 Oct 1719 describing an agreement with Mr Whitmore to provide bank bills for payments. Mr Whitmore will settle with Henry Davenport in London. Includes progress on the house.
16. 17 Oct 1719 concerning the payment required for bills and news that Mr Inglefield has still not begun work on the windows.
17. 26 Oct 1719 concerning payments already made and to be made and the news that the kitchen and laundry are still finished and Mr Inglefield has still not done the wainscoting.
18. 2 Nov 1719 concerning exacting a promise from Mr Inglefield to begin work. Also the recommendation from the brickman for clay and cost per thousand.
19. 9 Nov 1719 concerning the purchase of livestock and animal feed; a query of how many hogs he has for bacon, and a progress report on the building.
20. 14 Nov 1719 Account of money spent and work underway.
21. 17 Nov 1719 concerning payments made and those due, asks permission for the brickman to begin carting clay and complains that Thomas Woolley has not planted any oaks.
22. 25 Nov 1719 reports that Edward Stockall refuses to work under Thomas Woolley the gardener because: "Woolley is so prodigal cursing and damning him..." He also requests instruction for the brickman to begin carting clay.
23. 4 Dec 1719 answers criticism from Henry Davenport and reports that Edward Stockall is now working for the gardener.
24. 16 Dec 1719 Account of money paid and a request to have more money made available for payment of bills.
25. 12 Dec 1719 concerning finances and asking when Henry Davenport will come down.
