2. 19 Dec 1727 Letter from Walter Ellis regarding the recommendation of a gardener (unnamed) advising that he is a good kitchen gardener and understands many fruits; recommends paying him £15.
3. 6 Nov 1727 Letter from Leonard Fosbrooke, Shardlow, regarding the selling of wood and wainscotting, oak and deal and the price for clean deal or common deal, the lengths that he can supply and the width.
4. 23 Oct 1727 Letter from Leonard Fosbrooke regarding the selling of wood and advising that clean deal is very hard to come by; and his recommendations.
5. 23 Nov 1727 Letter from Earl of Sussex regarding his request to him to remove him from the list at the Exchequers Court regarding the appointment of Sherriffs. He has left it to the Duke of Argyll to act on his behalf.
6. Receipted bill from Robert Wright on behalf of his late father-in-law, Walter Wright, for his brewer's bill for beer.
7. Bills from Samuel Bradburn for a quantity of peas, carrying bricks, stone, slates to Worfield, for harrowing a field for turnips (2).
8. 26 Oct 1727 Letter from Abraham Elias regarding the receipt of diamonds that Henry Davenport's friends have on his behalf assuring him that he has been a good buyer and to recommend him to his friends.
