25. 9 Dec 1783 letter from Reverend Dr Pearkes, who is selling the Living at Bredon and needs to show the purchaser's solicitor the marriage settlement between William and Martha Davenport. With it is a letter dated 10 Dec 1783, from Mr Parsons, explaining the situation and giving general local news, including the spread of smallpox. 26. 9 Dec 1783 letter from Mr Parsons confirming that the marriage settlement has been returned by Dr Pearkes and that the tithe may now be sold by Martha Davenport and the appointed trustees. 27. 31 Oct 1783 letter from Mr Parsons concerning a bill to be discharged and a PS which says that Dr Pearks has requested to buy the close from Mrs Davenport as he finds Higgins a dirty neighbour. 28. 25 Aug 1783 letter from Mr Parsons containing an account from John Rayer which has been paid by bond with a sum outstanding to him. 29. 21 Oct 1783 letter from Mr Parsons urgently requesting money owed to John Rayer.
