Description1. Undated notes on a case between Thomas Nickles, plaintiff, and Thomas Bate, defendant, concerning a messuage, 40 acres of land, 20 acres of meadow, 40 acres of pasture and appurtenances in Mytley apparently demised to Nickles by Henry Davenport on 30 Mar 1659.
2. Undated notes on a case in the court of common pleas between Richard Jencke, plaintiff, and Josias Jefferies, defendant, concerning an ejectment of the manor of Hoxwood, apparently demised to Jencke by John Russell. Includes a family tree of John Waverton, whose daughter Jane married Sir George Bromley; the Davenports are descended from them.
3. Undated notes on a case between the Bishop of Lichfield and Coventry, Thomas Cholmond and Charles Mainwaring, plaintiffs, and William Bromley, Ann Bromley, Henry Davenport and Leticia Davenport, concerning farms called Horestone and Mitley in Shropshire.
4. Undated notes on a case between Adam Bate and Jenckes concerning Horston Farm in Mitley.
5. Undated abstract of deeds and transactions relating to the case between Nickles and others, concerning Mytley.
