8. 28 Mar 1732 Letter to Mrs Ivory in London from John Devey at Davenport House giving news of the house and estate. Makes reference to stocking the fish pools and the order of his lady's horses. Devey has received word from his master that he hopes to get him a place in the stamp or pipe offices but not immediately.
