Title
Letters to Charles Henry Talbot.
Description
1. 18 Dec 1893 from William Gilchrist-Clark about various discoveries made at Lacock; wishes he was there to see them. Asks if Harold Brakspear could draw a rough plan to show where things are.
2. 2 Feb 1894 from Mrs Gilchrist-Clark about William's excitement about the discoveries; talks about what is happening in their church community.
3. 4 Feb 1894 from William Gilchrist-Clark returning drawings of the proposed window. Asks if there is to be a dripstone to the sacristy window. His friend Micklethwaite suggests that the Lacock discoveries are similar to a Chapter House front which they unblocked at Jesus College, Cambridge. He is attempting to get a photograph and will write again very shortly.
4. 6 Feb 1894 from Mrs G Dent thanking Charles for sending a paper written by William Gilchrist-Clark and drawing attention to the note on Sudeley.
