1. Envelope with three notes: by Charles Henry Talbot noting various pieces of furniture sent to Mallett & Son on 3 Jul 1900 for appraisal; note stating what needs to be repaired on various pieces of paper; letter from John Mallett to say they have looked at the pieces and some may need repolishing.
2. 28 Mar 1901 from the Board of Education about the Victoria and Albert Museum's acceptance of photographic plates. Includes a copy letter from Charles Henry Talbot to the Board giving authority and describing various techniques used by William Henry Fox Talbot and dates.
3. 4 Apr 1901 Receipt from the Board of Education for the photographic plates and a print by William Henry Fox Talbot.
4. 10 Apr 1901 Letter from the Board of Education informing Charles that the plates have been received; expressing thanks for the gift to the museum and for the information provided about the processes.
