Full Transcript and Summary Transcript accompany a CD of the interview. Madge Bywater has lived the majority of her life in Lacock but only attended Lacock Primary school for a few years. She lived in Reybridge during World War Two where she saw American soldiers, prisoners of war and rationing. Worked for Nestles in Chippenham. Old and new shops in the village. Enjoyment of the filming that occurs in the village and problems with the cost of rent and lack of repairs by her landlord, The National Trust.
