Description1. 25 Aug 1719 to say he hopes Wooley will soon find out what destroyed the dusthouse; talking about getting a good flight of pigeons and asking Wooley to send Lady Ivory and his sisters some grapes when they are ready.
2. 3 Sep 1719 to ask if Ned Stockall could walk down the springs once a week to see that it is in order; asks Wooley to try and increase the stock of the pigeon house.
3. 12 Sep 1719 to say he is glad they found out what destroyed the pigeons; he has been promised some breeding pheasants by his brother Talbot.
4. 29 Sep 1719 to ask if he can make sure the pheasants from Talbot are well looked after; talking about Robin Barrett being difficult and not letting Wooley have the seeds he used to have, but Davenport has now ordered him to let Wooley have what he needs.
5. 6 Oct 1719 asking him to take special care of the new lot of pheasants; to be patient with Robin Barrett who is still causing problems; asking him to brew any malt he has.
6. 13 Oct 1719 asking him to pack up "curious" fruit and send them to Davenport; has asked Barrett to make a new place for the pheasants; gives orders to make beer from the barley that he has ordered to be brought.
7. 12 Nov 1719 asking him to send various meats to Davenport; discussing the new pond.
8. 17 Nov 1719 to say he is glad to hear Wooley has such a good stock of trees in the nursery; encloses a list of trees he has sent; instructions for a new garden servant; thanking him for beer sent. List of trees sent by Bridgnorth carrier.
9. 21 Nov 1719 about staff problems amongst the gardeners at Worfield including Stockall who has deserted the gardens; saying that Wooley should have direction of who works in the gardens; asks for information on the artichokes and other items.
10. 28 Nov 1719 asking him to take care with the hams and tongues; complaining that the beer is too strong.
11. 7 Apr 1720 asking for information on the fish Wooley has bought; asks Wooley to take care of the pheasant eggs.
12. 26 Apr 1720 to say he is coming to Worfield; giving instructions for the food and the house to be made ready for him.
