TitleLetters to Charles Henry Talbot.
Description1. 19 Oct from Mrs Matilda Gilchrist Clark from Speddoch reporting on a visit by William Gilchrist-Clark and Alice Selwyn.
2. 26 Oct from Mary Gilchrist Clark confirming a blackcock had been sent to Charles Henry Talbot the previous day (although minus its tail kept by Mary for her hat), that Jack had arrived safely looking better, reporting many frosty mornings and looking forward to the visit of Auntie Monie (Rosamond).
3. 25 Oct from Rosamond Talbot reporting on her visit to Hermiston House with trips to Edinburgh Cathedral, Dunfirmaline, the Forth Bridge and Milburn Tower. The latter is little changed from when Rosamond and Charles Henry Talbot lived there some 30 years before nor any more cheerful.
