Description1. 13 Feb from P Delme Awdry proposing a charge for preparing a lease and counterpart plus in the envelope a draft letter from Charles as chairman of Lacock Parish Council confirming the appointment of Awdry to prepare a lease on the terms stated in his letter.
2. 19 Feb from E C Hunt to Charles as chairman of Lacock Parish Council enclosing a copy of the "Daily News" (not in envelope) offering to make any arrangement regarding the parish meeting for the nomination of candidates for the next Council.
3. 19 Feb from William Gilchrist Clarke agreeing that a visit by an officer of the Science and Art Department could do no harm-the letter does not state to where the visit will be made, discussing a loan collection of furniture at Bethnal Green, the discovery of walls outside the East Terrace at Lacock and whether they were medieval.
4. 20 Feb from J Lambert Colman at Chippenham Veterinary Infirmary asking if he may visit Lacock Abbey to view the "beautiful and antique specimens" contained there.
5. 23 Feb 1896 from Charles Henry Talbot to Harold Brakspear asking questions on "hood-moulding in the west window of the south aisle and porch at Lacock Abbey, certain Latin inscriptions and heraldic devices regarding the Hungerford family.
6. 24 Feb from P Delme Awdry asking if Charles had any objection to letting the cottage near Lacock School to D H Clutterbuck's old butler Cowling and the proposed term for letting of the allotment land.
