2. 4 Aug from W Jacob, manager of Capital and Counties Bank, Chippenham about opening a branch at Lacock and referring the matter to his directors.
3. 6 Aug from William Gilchrist Clark-Maxwell saying that Rosamond suggest to come on 18th of August, mentioning that he had seen Langley Burrell church whilst Brakespear was restoring it and while it "had its skin off", and referring to a wall between the coach-houses and stables which possibly marks a point northward and asking about if there is any knowledge of a monastic date; reference to the infirmary; reference also to Goddard not wanting to print Edward Maskelyne's paper but it should appear in the magazine possibly in a shortened version.
