2. 5 Apr from W N Ledbury, accountant, Trowbridge, about the Wilts Trust. He will send an application form to Charles Henry Talbot and Miss Talbot soon.
3. 22 Apr from E J Smart of Bath. Writing on behalf of his sister, the widow of W Gale who died some time ago. Work done by Mr Gale on the estate was not invoiced and therefore not paid for, and would Charles be willing to settle the account. Mrs Gale is in financial difficulties due to her late husband's poor business sense and is having to sell property, and wonders if Charles would be interested in buying.
4. 24 Apr Copy to E J Smart from Charles Henry Talbot in response to the above letter. Charles agrees he owes him but Gale also owed him money. He tried to get him to submit his account but he did not accept help. He may be interested in buying 2 cottages on Nethercote Hill.

8. 5 May from George E Brown, The Photogram Ltd. Asked his publisher to send Charles Henry Talbot a copy of "The Discovered Photography" but have turned his manuscript inside out in America and scarcely recognises it. Thanks him for his help.
9. 11 Mar to clerk of the Parish Council, Lacock from F N Rogers, Charities and Records Committee, Wilts County Council, Trowbridge. Notice of Public Enquiry on behalf of Charities Commission to be held 22 Mar.
10. 05 May from Walter A Wigram, Charity Commission. Sends a copy of his draft report asking for corrections and pointing out complications with Fussell's Charity.
