Envelope marked "Mrs May's 2 letters to my mother & notes relating to Liddington (apparently 1844)". Mrs May's first letter relates to a connection of the Talbot family to Liddington as patrons of Liddington enclosing a paper listing the patrons and clerics of Liddington.1297-1843. The second notes Mr Talbot's interest and begs he keep the paper stating that it was prepared by a gentleman living at Great Bedwyn from the archives of Salisbury Cathedral but that it contains several errors in names. |
