Description1. 1866 Telegram from Spezia announcing the arrival of Madam Talbot.
2. 11 Mar 1884 from Edwin Sloper about Reybridge, and his belief (giving reasons) that the bridge was not built by William Sharington. Reply included from Charles that he agreed about William Sharington not being involved and giving detailed histories of several bridges in the area.
3. 17 Mar 1884 from Edwin Sloper thanking Charles for his reply, and using references he had made. Hopes that Charles's health had improved so he could continue writing.
4. 7 Sep 1874 from Mrs Charlotte Starkey about Spye Park and changes made to the building. Mentions Lady Somerville and her brother John, also Dr Starkey and Dingley.
5. 15 Mar and 2 Apr 1879 Notes concerning Keynsham Church including the style of the architecture, changes made and how it could be improved, and discussing the tomb of Henry Bridges 158-.
6. 29 Nov 1877 from Hamilton Hall about Davenport letters and a cup and saucer in his possession. His grandfather believed that William Davenport Talbot was so sickly that Hall's side of the family might inherit.
7. Notes on the Bonham family of Haselbury in Box; their pedigree in Benolte's visitation of 1532 and included in the copy of letter sent to Schomberg for Wilts Notes and Queries on 8 Jun 1897.
8. 4 Mar 1878 from J E Jackson about various Wiltshire coats of arms. Includes thoughts about Heytesbury in 1521 and some drawings and parts of family trees.
9. Transcription of an advert for a 1580 deed between Thomas Joye of Kingham, Wilts and John, late Abbott of the dissolved monastery of St Maclyn of Battle, Sussex with Edward Baynton of Bromham.
10. Book plate depicting a shire horse.
11. 15 Mar 1876 from Captain Spicer at Spye Park about the almhouses in Bromham and the lack of knowledge of who built them. He plans to re-build them sometime.
12. Picture of Hereford Town Hall, pulled down in 1861.
13. Extract from the Stone family pedigree including Elizabeth Stone who married John Talbot in 1742.
14. Transcription of a covenant between Dame Johanne de Mountfort and Monsieur John Bluet. The covenant is in French and belonged to Job Edwards.
15. 1881 Markets and Fairs Temporary Order.
