5. 4 Apr 1894 Letter from Rosamond Talbot to Matilda Gilchrist Clark the elder at the Old House, Dumfries, regarding her arrival at Lacock to find Charles and Mr Brakespear uncovering a painting on the wall in the cloisters of the Abbess holding a staff and letting her know that "Maudi" (Matilda junior) will arrive tomorrow.
6. 29 Jul 1879 Letter from "Piggy Wiggia Pyramidalis" to Matilda Theresa Gilchrist-Clark regarding her having a party on a Sunday and not inviting them but they will be coming anyway.
7. 27 Nov 1881 Letter from Rosamond Talbot to Matilda Gilchrist-Clark the elder regarding an item of clothing that she has seen on two girls which she thinks will suit Matilda as it comfortable and allows more freedom.

Undated letter from Matilda at R N Air Station Cranwell, to her mother regarding things that are going on at camp and the appointment of a WRAF officer, paying £2000 into the Lacock estate account, saying that the influenza bug hadn't reached camp but the villages around had had it she likened it to swine fever; hoping to visit at the first opportunity.
