4. 31 Dec 1888 from Ernest Spackman asking for a subscription towards a piano to be bought by the Good Templars of Corsham for use at their weekly meetings in the Town Hall (to replace a small worn out harmonium) to help in their fight against "…the enemy of the country vis intoxicating drink".
