Description1. 15 Aug 1726 Letter from Mr Waters in Bombay, regarding the dangerous conditions for the East India Company in the area ruled by the Morrates and his concerns that trade will be suspended. Also the successful placement of Mr Morley in the office.
2. 23 May 1728 Letter from Francis Elde regarding sending seeds for him to try growing and giving suggestions on how to plant them in an experimental way.
3. 20 Jul 1728 Letter from Philip Miller regarding the difficulty of finding a "sober well qualified gardener" but thinks he has. Asks him to think about employing more help as large area for one person.
4. 6 Aug 1728 Letter from Philip Miller stating that the gardener will come by Wolverhampton Carrier.
5. 2 Sep 1728 Letter from Charles Boone, at the request of Johanna regarding her maintenance, requesting that his daughter Miss Davenport would take her under her own protection and provide for half her needs, whilst he would provide the other half from their estates.
6. 13 Sep 1728 Letter from Abraham Gascoigne, a tradesman explaining that a gentleman has not paid his bill and he is in difficulties and could Mr Davenport settle his.
7. 3 Oct 1728 Letter from Abraham Gascoigne referring to previous letter and asking for payment for bill of over £96.
