23. 17 Jan 1714 Copy letter to the ministers and chuchwardens of Madras enclosing (in the original letter) a bill of sale for a house bought for a servant, for her lifetime and that of her children, if she had any, until they married. The house then reverting to Henry Davenport. Troubling the ministers with the administration, since the house was given as an act of charity.
