Letters from G Talbot, probably Gilberta but the writing in letter 1 is very different from that of 2 and 3.
Description
1. 24 May 1700 from G Talbot to “cousin” concerning giving Robert Barrish a bond
2. Undated letter from Gilberta Talbot to Mrs Davenport thanking her for the elder wine which was the best she had ever drunk. Saying that she is sorry niece Ivory was still unwell and that she had been unwell himself but after taking her own medicines was much better. Adds that John Shardin gave the prince a ball last week at Kempton Park which was extremely entertaining.
3. Undated letter from Gilberta Talbot to her niece, saying that she had been unwell and that Master Davenport had come to visit her with a friend from Eton. Tells of Maudey having died and poor Franklin looking a world of pains.
