Bundle of four letters to Henry Davenport about money: a. 7 Dec 1697 Letter from Roger Parsons requesting assisting him in employing a barrister in order to pursue a case against Taylor for extortion. b. 6 May 1697 Letter from H Gough asking for a bill to be paid. c. 29 Aug 1697 Letter from Thomas Richards asking for payment of late bill. d. 11 Sep 1697 Letter from unknown requesting payment of an unpaid bill. 3. Separate bundle: a. 5 slips of paper with amounts of butter in pounds. b. Bills, two signed by Thomas Corbett, for food, all dated 1721. 4. Booklet of accounts, many entries for travelling and some servant's bills. It doesn't record the owner; however there are references to Brother Ivory and Lady Davenport. 5. 1718 Note from Abraham Franks to Henry Davenport delaying business in stocks because of the holidays. 6. 25 Aug 1716 Letter from Leticia Davenport to Henry Davenport concerning family health and saying of her sister Arabella; "I think the smallpox has improved her face". 7. 13 Oct 1720 Letter from Henry Davenport concerning debts of the estate and which will be delivered to the court. 8.
