Description
1. 19 Apr 1720 to say he got to Eton safely, but caught a cold as the journey was very wet.
2. 28 Apr 1721 to say he hopes to see him before he goes to the Country and sends regards to his sister Betty.
3. 13 May 1721 to say he was hit by a stone in his eye which swelled up. Writes of wanting to go home.
4. 6 Jul 1721 to say he has had no sign of the smallpox. Talks of where to stay in the school holidays.
5. 24 Sep 1721 to say he is pleased that he is coming to London. Says he has been unwell, but is better now and gives his duty to his sisters and brother.
