Notebook containing, at the front, an inventory of goods sent to Davenport House, belonging to Sharington Davenport.
Description
At the back of the book is a receipted bill dated 13 Nov 1773, from Harrison to Sharington Davenport for sundries paid, including carpet beating and carriage of hampers. Inside the notebook there are loose receipts and a letter:
a. Receipted bill from Decimus Haines for making stays for the late Mrs Davenport.
b. Receipted bill from William Martin for grass for horses.
c. Receipted bill from William Cross for the hire of a bed chair.
d. Receipted bill from George Hulbert for window cleaning.
e. Receipted bill from Benjamin Adamson for Madeira.
f. Receipted bill from William Street for spa water.
g. Undated letter from Arabella Davenport to Henry Davenport asking him to write more regularly.
