Description1. 1789-1790 Accounts between Stephen Vezey and William Davenport Talbot, executor of the late Mrs Martha Davenport. Credits and debits listed and balancing ou; names given of people money owed to.
2. 1789 Lacock accounts of chief rents due to Michaelmas. 6 columns of yearly rent, tenants' names (alphabetical order), number of years to pay, sum due, cash received and arrears.
3. 1789 Accounts of rents received at Lacock of small tenants at Michaelmas by Stephen Vezey.
4. 1790 Proctor's bill for probate and commission for the late Mrs Martha Davenport's estate.
5. 1789 Bill for William Davenport Talbot from Stephen Vezey for his expenses including travel, paying wages and making fair copies of wills.
6. 1795 Accounts of William Talbot by Stephen Vezey listing cash received and balanced by bills on one side and balance on the other side.
7. 2 Jul 1799 Letter with 2 copies of bills owed by Thomas Mansel Talbot and Mrs Davenport for hams and carriage from Nicholas Horn, London. The letter contains an apology for not sending the hams quicker.
8. 10 Jul 1794 Letter to Miss Davenport from John Shakespear requesting that he and his brothers be sent for as it is a holiday and they didn't know. Includes pencil notes of documents and ornaments by Miss Davenport.
9. 1785 Accounts of the late Reverend Dr Davenport from his death in 1781 listing moneys received and paid out by John Parsons on behalf of the executors. Miss Barbara Davenport acted on behalf of her mother Martha Davenport and the accounts were verified on 14 May 1785.
10. 1799 Bill for the transport of a calf and heifer from Bredon to Stainstead.
11. 4 Apr 1798 Letter to Miss Davenport regarding the purchase of a cow (in calf) and a heifer from Stowford fair by John Darke. He lists the problem purchasing the cow as the seller demanded more money; he has his concerns but believes it will work out fine. However he is concerned about how long it will take his drover to get the cow there and the cost. He lists how to pay everyone.
12. 1799 Letter to Mr Darke, probably from Miss Davenport, regarding the purchase of a cow, aged 3 years for 17 guineas. She had a calf at the age of 2 and is a good milker. Arrangements then for her journey - and the opportunity to buy casks of perry.
