TitleArchive of Joseph Gye, builders firm of Market Lavington
DescriptionThe Gye family firm were builders and blacksmiths with premises on White Street, Market Lavington. The firm also has links to the undertaking trade, as several funerals are mentioned in the collection. The firm was originally run by the father of Joseph Gye (dates unclear) and later taken over by Joseph's son Thomas.

The collection also includes material relating to the Wiltshire Agricultural Association, which the family (presumably Joseph's father) were involved with.
