| Description | Records relating to the estate in general
In a period of manorial decline and estate supremacy the dividing line between estate and manorial records will sometimes be fine. In this section a number of records relating to manors on the estate which, for an earlier period, could more certainly have been classified as manorial, have been retained among the estate records, however, hence the apparently “manorial” content.
