| Description | Colonel Bullen Reymes married Elizabeth Gerard, one of four heiresses of estates in Dorset and Somerset. (The other three Gerard sisters married Francis Wyndham, Edward Hyde and John Winter). Through her, Reymes acquired Waddon in Portesham, Dorset. His friend and business associate Constance Pley was the wife of George Pley of Weymouth, esq., and his daughter Tabitha eventually married their son George Pley the younger. His son Bullen Reymes the younger married Anne Coker. and died without issue in 1695, whereupon the widow, Anne Reymes, married secondly Harry Chafyn of Zeals, gent.. After her death, Harry Chafyn married Tabitha Pley’s daughter Mary; but had no children by either marriage. He left his property to his sister Jane, who married John Grove.
