Title
Letter from Elinor Wylie
Description
Apologies for not writing sooner to thank her for her visit to EO. On return was busy - then received newspaper cuttings from New York about her accident, saying she was dying - made quite ill by it all (Elinor died suddenly in December). Elinor Clutton invited her to stay but prefers own home - only EOs offers the same peace and quiet. Dreading return to New York - wishes could persuade 'dear Bill' over for Christmas.
