Title
Letter from Isla de la Marshe - on board ship
Description
Preparations for and goodbyes on depature are exhausting - especially as has a wobbly heart. 3 weeks at sea done wonders for her health. Liked 'Jane's Grandmother' and EO's inscription. Times should sack their critic. Saw Rex Whistler's frescoes at the Tate - wonderfully clever. Trying to read Bernard Shaw's 'Intelligent Woman's Guide to Socialism' - a waste of his talent. Describes places visited on voyage so far. Address at first in Perth, Australia.
