Title
Letter from Dily at Shulbrede Priory, Lynchmore, Haslemere
Description
Saying she has not heard from E and wants to know about Reginald. Also to tell about Matthews engagement to Bess Bigham - she felt she shuld have told E before but Bess's father was a problem. Has just been up to Northumberland to stay with Johnny her brother-in-law who says Matthew has done well and could not do better in his eyes - her father is very well off but helpless with us. Tells how Gordon has left her house, John is still with them but goes into a cottage nearby at the end of the week. Had a smash in the car returning from Northumberland a car came round a corner - had to leave the car in the Midlands and return by train.
