TitleLetter from E M Hocker
DescriptionEnclosed catalogue cover - Exhibition of Watercolour painting by Emily C Hocker 1922 at The Berkeley Gallery. Newspaper cutting about 'The Elfin Oak' by Ivor Innes (the Griglan Artist) to be erected in Kensington Gardens. Press cutting from Miss Mary Pitcairn (Mrs Gossip) reviewing the above exhibition. Letter refers to the death of Auntie Ger - Emmie will be going soon, hopes EO will be at home so can visit. Sending list of names and translation from Cornish (of her works) as EO wants to include in next novel. The gale hit Wiltshire and the west badly - beautiful cedar is a great loss, terrible that the avenue between Wilton and Salisbury was destroyed, 300-400 trees down near Newquay.
