Letter from Tante Johanna
Description
Relieved Stephen now in hands of good doctors. Cannot understand Dr Chandler. Wishes Dr Kachenbach could come to England to compare old and new x-rays and discuss the case with Stephen's English doctors. Wants EO to send further details. Very busy with Haus Hirth full - weather is awful, cannot remember such a bad summer. Poor people in Omerammergan doing Passion Play in open air. She is slowly getting stronger, difficult to be an invalid and have such a big household. Seeing Dr Lampe in Munich - still looks like a ghost but glad she has recovered this much.
