Saw Mrs Miuzeles(?) fairly often, liked her much better than him - just a politician, "unlike our dear Mussy - who puts the country first. Describes a visit to the Acropolis and other sites, describes Grreks she met as rich having great collections, mainly Byzantine. Going to Delphi, road is falling to pieces and people look poor and ill. Hoping to get to London. Asks for news of Harry and Margaret. |
