Read 'A Man Named Luke' by March cost - felt EO strongly. Encloses newspaper clippings about Mr Chilvester's Daughters' (published in England as The Seraphin Room). Started a group called "The New Economics Group" to spreading Douglas's scheme (agitating for social credit?). Similar groups - off shoots of hers in California and Canada and beginning in other States. Recently had lunch with EO's friend Alice-Leone Moats who has a good job on Vanity Fair and whose book on Etiquette "Nice girls Don't Swear" is being published by Knopf in May.
