Title
Letter from R Ellis Roberts
Description
Very sorry to have missed seeing E - is she feeling better after being stung(?). They hated Bridie's 'Tobias' play. He was speaking at the religious drama society and brought the Rothersteins and a young nephew to hear him. Will R was sorry not to have met E. He has finished his book - Life of Stella Benson. Harriet still unwell but having treatment to cure her insomnia. They stayed at Iris Origo's flat - Iris is daughter of Lady Sybil Cutting(?) Scote Lubbock. Very disappointed by 'Three Guineas' by V.W. Likes Mona Wilson's new book though its appeal is rather limited.
