Description	Re Mr Walkley - she is a niece of Elias Squarey and stayed with him at Odstock when she was a child and again as a girl of 17 in 1871. Mr Squarey's sister Mrs Hodding lived in The Close. Relates the story of the gypsies curse on Odstock church for the cutting down of a tree associated with Joshua Scamp. She remembers Sidney Herbert patting her on the head.
