Title
Letter from Norah R at Byways Museum, Andover
Description
Answering E's questions about previous Mayors and historic papers. Bertie looked up Mayor 1786/7 suggests Lord Herbert looks in past copies of Salisbury Journal - probably in British Museum Repository in Hendon. There are very few papers relating to Wilton's past which is surprising. Suggests asking Percy if he has the one book they did find, also ask Mr Aylward. Invites E to lunch as there is a matter they wish to discuss with her.
